Loading my emails earlier I was amazed to see one announcing my nomination for the Liebster Award 2017 from the lovely Bexa. I’ve only been blogging for a week and Bexa is one of the people here on WordPress who has made me feel welcome and not so intimidated to just ‘give it a go’. Her blog is just as inspiring as her thoughtfulness, so make sure to check it out!
Now, onto the award: passed from blogger to blogger to promote connections in the blogging community, first eleven questions from the person who nominated you have to be answered, then a new set of questions have to be written for your nominees.
The questions from Bexa:
What inspired you to start blogging?
I think the main reason I started this blog was to have a creative outlet, and also a place to write for the sake of writing. Carefree writing that’s not marked against anyone else’s criteria in a community where I can be inspired by others.
If you had £500 to spend solely on blogging how would you spend it?
I’d use the money for plane tickets to somewhere inspiring to blog about.
How did you come up with the name of your blog?
It’s pretty self explanatory, this blog is basically an online journal of my thoughts and life.
Have you ever visited somewhere just because you read about it in someone’s blog?
I read a lot of blogs when I was planning my trip around the world last year, so I’m sure I got inspiration for all of the places I visited. Perhaps the most influential was the stuff I read about hiking in Hawaii, that really captured my imagination.
What is your favourite non-blog website?
Probably Netflix or Youtube.
Besides blogging, what are your other passions and interests?
I love photography, travelling and watching Scandinavian crime box sets.
What is your favourite book?
Nineteen Eighty-Four.
Where would you like to go on holiday next?
I’m really craving a winter getaway right now, like a cosy cottage holiday.
What film can you watch over and over again?
‘Ferris Bueler’s Day Off’ for a feel-good film or ‘Spirit’ from my childhood.
Are you doing Blogmas this year?
Maybe, I haven’t decided yet! I love the idea though.
What are your future dreams and aspirations for your blog?
To just keep writing and see what direction my blog goes in.

A general desire to write more and share something I love.
What motivates you to keep blogging?
It’s fun and rewarding when I get responses on my posts from people all around the world.
What is your biggest passion, besides blogging?
My biggest passion is people, I love being around them and helping them. You will never beer me say: “Oh it’ll be too crowd lets go later. ” I thrive on human interaction and connections.
If you didn’t blog, what creative hobby would you do instead?
I have a lot of creative hobbies. That is actually something I am writing about this week, I look forward to sharing this weekend!

I have been really enjoying your shares! I also am obsessed with theminimalist.com they have an essay about “Why Tyler Durden is a Minimalist.” I also really adore yogagirl.com she is very inspirational and someone I look up to.
Where would be your dream place to live?
I am there, Cali 🐻
Who inspires you the most?
My grandma inspires me the most in life, she is strong independent and adventurous. She has gone on mangy adventures in her youth and is an amazing storyteller.
What’s your favourite season?
Autumn is my favorite season, fresh starts and leaves changing.
Where do you see your blog going in the future?
Who knows, hopefully influencing those who read it to dive into their own passions and be the most beautiful version of themselves.

It has helped me continue to be more optimistic and work to challenge myself to keep striving towards my goals.
