Some of the most popular posts on my blog are my bullet journal monthly setups. Unfortunately for everyone involved, I haven’t graced the internet with one of these since October. That’s because the way I utilise my bujo has changed – I started university at the end of September and found that the spreads I normally use are unnecessary (and impossible to keep up with) as a student.
So from November, I switched techniques. Now, I only create weekly spreads. This is so I can focus on planning in everything I need to do without wasting time on pages that don’t add much value to my current lifestyle. So doing a monthly setup post would be pretty obsolete as it would just involve the title page and not much else. Instead, I thought I’d do a post with a selection of my most recent weekly spreads in the hope that it inspires you to get creative in your own journal.
Simple box designs
During weeks I don’t have much time, I usually resort to simple box designs like these.
Doodle designs
When I have a few minutes to spare, I get to work with the pens. It’s still pretty simple, but a bit more time-consuming.
Arty designs
And if I want to spend some time relaxing doing something slightly more creative, I’ll get out the watercolours.
Bonus monthly spreads
As I never did monthly setups for November and December, I didn’t get a chance to put up the front pages for those months on the blog. Lucky for you, I decided to chuck them in at the end here – which just about wraps it up!
What do you like to include in your weekly spreads?

I love your monthly spreads – they look absolutely beautiful! I definitely can relate to not having enough time to plan your time although I can also see how helpful bullet journals are when you get the hang on them. xx

I always love seeing your bullet journal designs Alys! Wow, the doodle page is amazing, so detailed! I love the colourful arty spreads too, so creative! The watercolour designs are so pretty. I really admire that you can keep up with a bullet journal whilst studying, I’ve only done one spread in November, I need to make more time of it as it is always so nice to flick through the pages and reflect. Thank you for sharing lovely! ❤ xxx

Thanks! I think I just let other things slip, I guess we can’t prioritise everything! I agree, bujos are particularly good for reflection xxx
